Washington, May 6, 2003 - Rep. Waxman asks GAO for an accounting of the cost of the President's recent dramatic landing on a visit to the aircraft carrier. The White House has admitted that the President could have traveled to the carrier, which was located just off the San Diego coast, less theatrically.
