Rep. Waxman Works to Protect Effective Forest Management Policies

Rep. Waxman urges President Bush to withdraw proposals that would transform the national forest policy which have proven to be well-tested forest management policies. The cumulative effects of the new policies would undermine and eliminate open-decision-making, accountability, resource protection, and opportunities for public involvement and scientific input.
